Euan Gray

Bachelor of Industrial Design, First Class Honours Massey University, New Zealand

I am a 25-year-old Industrial Designer, I have been living and working in London for the past 2 years. Since completing my degree at Massey University in Wellington, I have been working at both Fraser Engineering, who manufacture fire engines, and Weta Workshops, who create props and miniatures for films, most famously Lord of the Rings. I am currently working as a Model Maker at the award winning architecture firm Foster + Patners in London.

I am passionate about the future of design and the importance that it will hold in our future society. In a world where increasing pressure is being put on the environment around us, I think design holds an important place in solving some of these problems. I am really eager to be a part of this future. Through my first hand experience in manufacturing my eyes have been opened to the possibilities that intelligent design can bring. Coupled with my traditional design skills attained at University I have a good toolkit to tackle design problems.
